Houghton – Portage Township Schools’ Board of Education will prepare for the 2023-2024 school year tonight.
The board will seek to accept the resignation of Rob Fay as Vice President of the board. Additionally the board will seek to appoint a new trustee to the board, and fill the vice president role.
Other action items concern staff hires, approval of the district course offerings, as well as student and employee handbooks. The district will also discuss a kitchen design and renovation project with Mill Creek north for consultation.
The Houghton – Portage Township School district regular August meeting will start at 6 pm in the High School/Middle School library.
