Houghton Man Found Frozen

Authorities have released the name of the young Houghton man who was found frozen in Niagra, Wisconsin. The body of 19 year old Jacob William Gleason, was discovered around 8:30pm Sunday evening during a search and rescue operation after his vehicle was found abandoned on a snowmobile trail.

Its reported that Gleason was on his way back to Houghton, and its unclear why his vehicle was on the trail.

Officials say he was found deep in the woods and rescuing firefighter also lost track of their exact location, but built a fire for warmth until law enforcement officers arrived.

An autopsy is scheduled for tomorrow.
