Houghton FC and Copper Country Soccer Association Partner with Michigan Tech Women’s Soccer for Spring Training Clinics

Registration for Spring Soccer with Houghton FC and the Copper Country Soccer Association has opened. Recently the two local youth soccer clubs partnered with the Michigan Tech Women’s soccer team to offer an opportunity to local youth interested in playing soccer at a competitive level. These training opportunities will jump-start kids’ individual football skills. Kids interested in playing soccer participate in U8 to U14.

The first of the two training opportunities will take place in March and then again in April. Each of the opportunities will include training sessions that are on Saturdays. Players will practice skills from basic ball handling to more technical skills. Those interested in learning more about Youth soccer opportunities in the Keweenaw Peninsula with Houghton FC and Copper Country Soccer Association can find more details about the training session with the Michigan Tech Women’s soccer team below.
