The Houghton County Sheriff plans to sell one of its old vehicles.
The Houghton County Sheriff recently posted a sale on the department’s Facebook page notifying the public of a vehicle auction for a 2018 All Wheel Drive Police Interceptor. The Department vehicle for auction has approximately 218,000 miles on the odometer. Additionally, the vehicle does need to require work to be fully operational, such as a timing belt. Otherwise, the department reports the vehicle as a white 2018 Ford Explorer police Interceptor model that remains in fair condition.
The department will ask for a minimum bid of 750 dollars.
