Houghton County Land Bank is Seeking Development Proposals in the Calumet-Laurium Area

The Houghton County Land bank is seeking developers for a number of properties in the Calumet- Laurium area. The land bank is seeking sealed competitive bids for the proposals with each property. The Land bank will provide demolition services for removal and clean up for the eight properties. An optional pre-bid conference and walk through for the sites is scheduled for next week, at 2 pm. The walk through will start at 426 5^th street in calumet. A request for Proposal package is available and can be obtained from Jeff Ratcliffe with the Keweenaw Economic Development Alliance. Proposals for the properties are due by 4 pm September 30^th, and can be submitted to the Houghton county Treasurers office. Find a list of the properties below.
