The Houghton City Council is expected to have a rather light agenda tonight at their meeting.
Besides the usual approval of the accounts payable, they will discuss multiple resolutions.
There will be one resolution to fund and appoint a Lakeshore drive maintenance and management crew, which was a condition of the acceptance of grant money from the state.
The city will also look at proclaiming the City of Houghton Bicycle Day for Aug 1.
During that time, Tour Da Yoop, Eh will be stopping in Houghton on their journey. The day will promote bicycle safety, fitness, toursim, and also raise awareness for childhood cancer.
The final resolution will be accepting bids for 2023 paving projects through the city.
