Houghton businesses invite ladies, and gentlemen, to Ladies’ Night in downtown

Black Friday and Small Business Saturday are still a couple of weeks away. But that won’t stop Copper Country ladies from enjoying a night out and shopping downtown. This week Houghton hosts the city’s annual ladies’ night celebration that promotes small businesses and economic activity in the area. The event has taken place over several years with many businesses joining the fun evening. The night isn’t just for ladies though. The Keweenaw Chamber of Commerce says that while ladies night is the name of the event, Houghton’s businesses are excited to welcome everyone in the community to their shops. Ladies Night in Houghton will goes from 5 to 8 pm tomorrow and Friday.
