Houghton and Iron Counties Receive MDARD County Fair Grants

The Michigan Department of Agriculture and Rural Development announced the recipients of the County Fair and Exposition grants.

Of the county fairs across the state, two local ones were chosen.

The Houghton County Fair Association received $100,000 for an Exhibit Building Addition.

Iron County Fair Association received over $49,626 for the Fairground electrical Upgrades Project.
