Highland Copper Provides Updates on Copperwood and White Pine Projects

Highland Copper provides important updates to the community about the development of the Copperwood and White Pine projects. Recently High Land Copper provided key updates on progress made at Copperwood and White Pine Mine sites. At Copperwood the company has re-initiated early site preparation work in May to advance stream relocation and wetland mitigation structures while maintaining good standing on permits. Also during May Highland presented the merits of the project to the Appropriations Committee in Michigan’s state House and Senate regarding the proposed 50 million dollar MEDC investment grant’s pending approval. At the White Pine project site, Highland’s venture partner Kinterra Copper LLC initiated a second drill program of approximately 14,500 meters to sollect samples for testing. As well as initiated key engineering trade-off studies and environmental baselines at the location. Highland Copper CEO Barry O’Shea says that the company continues to proactively move through both projects on time, coinciding with work with the state of Michigan’s economic development corporation to secure funds that will offset an initial 50 million dollar investment into the sites. Those interested in learning more about the Highland Copper Company and its project progress at the Copperwood and White Pine mine locations can find more details here.
