Hancock Public Schools plans to sell former bus garage in downtown Hancock

Hancock Public Schools announces it will sell the district’s former bus garage in the city. Hancock Public Schools has begun accepting purchase offers for 325 Franklin Street. The property has an appraised value of 190,000 dollars, using similar sales in the region over the past year. 325 Franklin Street sits atop a city lot approximately 0.4 acres in size with a 4,500 square foot structure and parking area. It is located just behind city hall in downtown Hancock. Superintendent Chris Salani says the district will accept offers for the 325 Franklin Street property until the end of 4 pm today.
