Navigating the financial paperwork with the Free Application for Federal Student Aid can be difficult. Often, schools will host a financial aid night to help prepare seniors and their parents for applying for federal financial aid when pursuing higher education. Tonight Hancock Public Schools will host a FAFSA information night for graduating seniors interested in post-secondary education. At Financial Aid Night students and parents will have the ability to apply for FAFSA aid with help from TRIO staff. To help staff assisting families navigate FAFSA forms, event organizers ask that students create a student aid account before Financial Aid Night. Additional information parents and seniors will need to bring with them include 2022 tax returns, records of child support, bank statements, detailing accounts, investments and net worth, and social security information. The information session will begin at 5:30 pm in Room 222 at the High School.
