The special meeting has moved to the cafeteria of Hancock Public Schools. The meeting will still start at 5 pm.
The Hancock Public Schools Board of Education will call a special meeting this evening. The board will discuss three large action items including the open vacancy on the school board, how the district plans to replace the district Superintendent, and potentially approve a finance resolution for McAfee Field. Over the summer school board member Randy Heinonen and district superintendent Steve Patchin both separately resigned from their respective positions. The special meeting will begin tonight at 5 pm in the district board room, located near the school resource officer office.
