Hancock Police Searching for Hit and Run Driver

Hancock Police are searching for the driver of a vehicle who fled the scene last night. At 6 pm the Hancock police department was called out after a hit and run and broken light pole was reported to police at Quincy Street and Dakota Street. The police department describes the vehicle as a black or dark-colored SUV. The Hancock Fire Department and the Public Works Department were called out to repair the live wires that were exposed by the broken light pole. Anyone with information on the whereabouts of the SUV that was last spotted at Quincy and Dakota streets at 6 pm last night is asked to call the Hancock police department at 906 482 3102.
