Hancock Planning Commission hosting special meeting

OHM Advisors is presenting Tuesday evening before a special meeting of Hancock’s Planning Commission. The consulting firm will address survey work they have been doing regarding the city’s zoning ordinances. Taking part in the Michigan Economic Development Corporation’s Redevelopment Ready Communities grant program requires the review.

OHM’s Ericka Malone says her firm has gotten to talk with a great mix of stakeholders, including city officials, real estate agents, developers, residents, and business owners. Their work has focused on all reaches of the city.

The meeting is set for 5:00 PM. Budget deliberations begin at the City Council level in earnest next week.
