Hancock Community Hub starts a logo design contest

Every great organization needs an identifying mark for the community. Recently the Hancock Community Hub, with help from the Keweenaw Community Foundation, announced it will open a logo design contest. The Hancock Community Hub, which was established earlier this year by Right Start UP, has maintained the first floor of Hirvonen Hall as a space for residents to engage in educational, physical, and creative activities.

The logo contest will accept design concepts from any resident in Houghton and Keweenaw counties and should be submitted online. The organization says the design should incorporate the spirit of the community and reflect the non-profit’s mission.

The Hancock community hub will accept design submissions until October 31st. The winner of the logo design contest will earn 100 dollars in Kew Bucks, and a 400 dollar check.
