The Copper Country sure does enjoy their farmer’s markets. But it is very difficult for local artisan vendors to find a space to sell their wares during the colder winter months. And no one wants to be stuck out in the snow and wind. In Hancock tomorrow, the Cold Season Farmer’s Market will host their grand opening. The market has been open already, with great success during their first market just a couple of weeks ago. The grand opening for the cold season market will begin at 3 pm, at the Orpheum Theater on Quincy Street. Because it is harder to source fresh fruit or vegetables this time of the year, the cold season market finds more bakers, and artisans setting up their displays. The Hancock Cold Season Farmer’s Market will not be open during holidays, but will begin to operate weekly at the Orpheum Theater starting January 5th. Interested in becoming a vendor?
