Hancock City Council Special Meeting Preview: Keeping and Improving Dangerous Buildings?

The Hancock City Council will hold a special meeting regarding the enforcement of the Dangerous Building Ordinance at the old abandoned church just north of La Cantina at 501 Reservation Street, as well as the building across the street from the Magnuson hotel at 228 Hancock Avenue.

There will be a public show cause hearing separately for each building. The decision will be decided on after the public hearings and an administrative report.

The council will also consider the approval of the WUPPDR Recreation Plan Scope of Services for an update to the city’s recreation plan in the amount of $3,500.
