Hancock City Council Preview: Mayor’s Resignation, and Purchasing Disc Golf Sets

The Hancock City Council will hold their monthly meeting. Following a short presentation from Melissa Davis on the New Power Tour, the administrative report will discuss a multitude of public events, Hancock Transit Flex Route, and a grant from Copper Shores to the Hancock Fire Department. There will also be an announcement from Mayor LaBine.

In New Business, they will briefly discuss the approval of the payment of bills, and then move on to approve to schedule a public hearing for the acquisition of property for Mattila’s in exchange for topsoil. They will also consider the approval of the purchase of dynamic discs permanent veteran basket set for disc golf, and the Ryan Street Community Garden Grant application to Copper Shores to assist with the acquisition of three Community Garden parcels. There will be further approvals of small items before the meeting concludes.
