After Thanksgiving, much of America will fight over the best deal at their nearest super mega shopping center on Black Friday. But in the quaint community of Hancock will turn the calendar toward Christmas with the annual Christmas walk. The Hancock Business Association will enjoy the miracle of Quincy Street during the walk. During the event, there are plans for a s dog sled ride, hay rides, Christmas cookie decorating, hot chocolate, a food truck, craft making, and live music. In the evening Santa Claus will come to town, and he sets the Hancock Christmas tree ablaze with Christmas lights. And join the police department to cram a cruiser in support of toys for tots. Miracle on Quincy Street this Friday will begin at 5:30 pm and go until 830 pm. The tree lighting will begin at 6:10 pm. During the event, the police department will shut down Quincy Street, and redirect traffic on Hancock Street for two-way traffic.
