H-PTS 2024 Bond Extension Information Session One Week Away

Today is the first day of class for students. Parents will get a little education next Monday. Next week Houghton Portage Township schools plans to share with the community information for the upcoming bond extension. Currently the Houghton – Portage Township School district collects a 9.64 millage rate from residents within the district. The school district seeks an extension of the same millage rate that will last until 2031. The funds would then go toward infrastructure improvements in each facility. The Houghton Portage Township schools bond extension information session next Tuesday will begin at 6 pm inside the high school library.
