Gogebic Community College seeks input on potential educational opportunities

The Gogebic Community College seeks input from residents about expanding services and educational opportunities in the region.

This week Gogebic Community College announced it will ask residents from Houghton and Ontonagon counties for input on potential expanded educational opportunities that aim to benefit people in the community.

Gogebic Community College’s satellite campus in Houghton has served students in the Keweenaw Peninsula for many years.

College president Christ Patritto says GCC believes the best way to serve the community starts with listening to its residents, who provide insights the college uses for decisions of programs, policies, and services. The college hopes to focus on expanding vocational training programs, work with k-12 schools, and develop partnerships with local businesses.
