The Portage Lake District Library will soon have a series of fun events for every one of all ages. Tomorrow from 12 to 1 pm, kids can join the Lego Club, and learn the basic to the famous building blocks. Or even create an out of this world space ship. On Thursday, stop by the library for Circuit Crafty, and learn how to create your own potholder designs using heat transfer vinyl. And then this Saturday sew with Cynthia. Bring your own sewing machine, the library does have two machines available for rental. And join the fun learning how to sew with Cynthia Hodges, from Moms Kitchen Vintage. Attendees to Sewing with Cynthia will also need to bring their own fabric, the library does have a limited amount of material..
Additionally, Portage Lake District Library is unsure if they will offer the annual AARP Tax Prep Program this year. For the program to operate, the library will need a large number of volunteers to assist elderly residents in preparing for the 2022 tax year. If you have questions about the status of the program, or would like to inquire about volunteering with the portage lake district library, please contact Michael Stanitis.
