UPDATE: Fresh Fish Pick Up Today at the Western UP Food Bank Thanks to Michigan DNR

UPDATE: The Community Action Agency reports that all the fish donated by the DNR has been picked up.

Fish taste better when’s fresh from Lake Superior. The Keweenaw Community Action Agency has some fresh fish available thanks to the Michigan DNR for individuals in need of food assistance. The Keweenaw Community Action Agency asks that those planning to pick up fish stop by the loading dock at the Western U.P. Food Bank this morning (9:30am -12pm) and between 1 and 3 pm this afternoon. Organizers ask you to bring your container for the fish. The Western UP food bank is located at 310 Sharon Avenue in Houghton.
