Four More Days Until Dam Jam Makes Return to Calumet Lions Park

In just four more days, Calumet Lions Park will fill up for the first time in two years, as Dam Jam returns to provide family friendly fun, groovy music, and of course great times. The weekend festival brings together local and regional jam bands and artists, all for improving the area of calumet. As Dam Jam takes their proceeds and donates it to the Lions Park for maintenance and improvements for recreational opportunities.

We try to bring in some old and some new. So some of our friends are back for their second, third, even fourth time. And they’re chomping at the bit, ready to go, you know. We pride ourselves on bringing in great live acts and this year’s no different. At it’s core Dam Jam is a fundraiser for the Calumet Lions Park. Every dollar we make past our operating expenses, goes to the park. Every time we come out here, There seems to be another project they’re working on. – Jim Newman, Dam Jam Co Founder

The fifth Dam Jam will be headlined by Mungion, out of Chicago. And attendees will hear from other artists like Stormy Chromer, The Marsupials, Jeremy Rowe and the Dead Wreckoning, and more. Tickets are still available, they are 50 dollars for the full weekend or 30 dollars for a day pass on Saturday. And camping spots are also available for just 25 dollars.
