Feeding America Visiting Ontonagon for the First Time in 2024

Throughout the year Feeding America West Michigan will deliver a semi-truck of food to Ontonagon County. Today will be the first delivery in 2024. This year Feeding America and Copper Shores will bring the mobile food pantry to the region a couple more times than in the past. The mobile food pantry delivered by Feeding America has served numerous families and residents in Ontario County over the past four years. The semi-truck will arrive today at noon at the Ontonagon Village Fire Hall. There those in need of food assistance can pick up a box without the need to share a photo ID. Those in need are asked to provide an address or phone number so that Feeding America can keep evaluating the program’s reach in the community. The Ontonagon Fire Hall is located at 315 River Street in Ontonagon.
