A third semi truck from Feeding America will stop in Ontonagon at the village fire hall. The mobile food pantry will begin at noon today. Residents will not have to show proof of need to pick up food supplies. The mobile food pantry is brought to the community by the Portage Health Foundation and the help from Ontonagon Area Schools students. The foundation does plan to have a final food truck delivery in December. Feeding American-West Michigan serves forty of Michigan’s 83 counties. The Ontonagon Mobile Food Pantry is a part of the Portage Health Foundation’s Food Initiative. Learn more about the PHF Food initiative at PHFgive.org.
