Erickson Post releases Memorial Day schedule

Originally created in the aftermath of our nation’s Civil War, Memorial Day is a chance to honor soldiers killed while on duty. Conflicts great and small have always carried a price and the Alfred Erickson American Legion Post #186 in Hancock honors the ultimate sacrifice to our country at several area sites Monday morning.

7:50am-At the intersection between Church of the Resurrection and Gloria Dei Lutheran (Hancock)
8:15am-Marina (Houghton County)
8:30am- Veteran’s Park in Houghton
9:00am- Liminga Cemetery
9:30am- Oskar Cemetery
10:45am- Hancock (Montezuma Park) Memorial
11:00am-Quincy Hill Memorial
11:30am- Waasa Cemetery
12:00pm-Hancock Lakeside Cemetery
12:15pm-Post 186 Home Memorial
