Learning the responsibilities of the road takes some practice. For young drivers getting behind the wheel can make anyone nervous the first time. And having a great driving instructor in the passenger seat certainly makes learning how to drive a lot easier to get the hang of. Registration is now open for the Community Alliance for Progressive Education’s driver’s ed courses. The segment #1 course registration for Houghton area students will be open until November 20th. Students interested in taking driver’s education with CAPE are required to be a minimum of 14 years and 8 months old by the time the first class starts. CAPE Driver’s education course completes 24 hours of instruction in the classroom, and 6 hours behind the wheel. All materials are provided with the cost of registration.
