Diver Drowns at Isle Royale National Park

A diver has drowned in Lake Superior while diving at Isle Royale National Park. Yesterday, at 1:44 pm, the Keweenaw County Sheriff received a call from the Isle Royale National Park Service for a diving incident on the north side of the park. The diver was with a charter dive group when the incident occurred. The Keweenaw County Sheriff has not released the name of the victim, pending notification of the family. The incident remains under investigation.
