One of the items on the agenda of tonight’s Hancock Recreation Committee meeting is how to fix damage to a fence at the Driving Park. Near record high temperatures and close to 70 mph winds in mid-December caused a shed used for storing Little League equipment to blow over. It is not a large structure, but was thrown around with enough force to damage a significant portion of nearby chain link fencing.
Deb Mann says the city has a temporary fix in mind.
The affected section is about 40 feet in length, and very close to where the new dog park is being installed. Mann says work there should be completed shortly.
The Hancock Recreation Commission meets Tuesday night at 6:00 at City Hall.
