Daniel Yoder has been promoted to Upper Peninsula Associate Regional Director of the Michigan Small Business Development Center. Yoder first joined the Michigan SBDC in 2019 as a Senior Business Consultant. As the Upper Peninsula Associate Regional Director Yoder will continue to serve small and medium-sized businesses with leadership, planning, and administration throughout the region’s 15 counties.
Associate Vice President for Research at Michigan Technological University Jim Baker says that as the SBDC’s host institution in the Upper Peninsula, they are thrilled to recognize Yoder’s contributions to the Regional Office. Yoder received his bachelor’s degree from Wright State University before attending Michigan Tech and earning his MBA. Since joining the Michigan SBDC in 2019 he has helped hundreds of small businesses and entrepreneurs start and grow their businesses. Before joining the SBDC he worked in the banking and finance industry for the past 20 years.
