Copper Shores’ Giving Tuesday organization portal closes soon

Copper Shores Community Health Foundation enjoys giving back to the community. For seven years the foundation has organized Giving Tuesday. Raising funds for several organizations, and programs aimed at creating more healthful communities in the copper country.

Last year we had 32 different things we were raising money for. Some of it was copper shorts programming ourselves like our bridges program our Meals on Wheels program or some of the mental health focus programs we work on. But we also had more than 24 other non-profit groups that were part of it and over the years we’ve raised 3.6 million dollars through this program. It’s just absolutely wowed us the way our community has come forward and donates more than a half million dollars every year to these nonprofits to make our community a more helpful place. – Michael Babcock, Director of Communications and Donor Relations, Copper Shores Community Health Foundation

Copper Shores will continue to accept applications for giving Tuesday in 2024 until October 3rd. The foundation requests that interested organizations submit required tax forms, and applications online.
