Copper Shores Community Wellness & Outdoor Recreation grants support physical activity in the Copper Country

$40,000 in grant funding is available between a partnership with the Keweenaw Community Foundation and Copper Shores Community Health Foundation. The grant is called Copper Shores Community Wellness and Outdoor Recreation Fund and supports programs and projects that influence or support individual physical activity and healthy nutrition and supports the expansion, creation, or sustainment of outdoor recreational resources in Baraga, Houghton, Keweenaw, and Onotonagon counties Applications for the grant program are due no later than October 21st.
