Copper Shores Community Health Foundation supports programs and projects initiated by other local non-profits in the region. Over the years the foundation has regularly dispersed grant funds in the fall and spring cycle. Recently Copper Shores has begun to accept requests for proposals for projects benefiting from the spring 2024 round of grants. In previous years the foundation capped grant requests at 20,000 dollars per project. However, this spring Local organizations may request any amount of funding to support the advancement of projects or programs that will impact the health of communities in the copper country. Copper Shores Community Health Foundation will accept requests for grant funds until March 11th. The foundation plans to disperse up to 100,000 dollars during the spring. Additionally, the foundation asks organizations to consider submitting a Letter of Inquiry by February 1st, to provide further details about the project or program idea.
