Copper Shores Community Health Foundation recognizes the need for food assistance programs in the western upper peninsula. In the past, the foundation has worked with farmer’s markets, meals on Wheels programs, and feeding America to deliver mobile food pantries. But now the foundation wants to help others also close the food insecurity gap in the copper country. The Copper Shores Community Health Foundation has opened up its grant program designed for food assistance programs, and food pantries, focused on making healthier communities. The grant will award 2,500 dollars to awardees. Find more information on the food assistance grant program below.
