Copper Shores Community Health Foundation will make 100,000 dollars in grant funds available to address mental and behavioral health services. Yesterday the Copper Shores Foundation announced it will begin accepting requests for proposals for its mental and behavioral health services grant opportunities. The funds will support programs and organizations aimed at closing mental health service gaps, including programs focused on substance use disorders.
Senior Program Director Rebecca Crane says that the foundation proudly continues to provide support to mental and behavioral health services that impact lives in the Copper Country. Adding that demand for these types of services has grown in rural communities, especially the need for specialized support.
The foundation will ask organizations or groups interested in the grant program to submit a letter of inquiry by April 2nd. All grant applications for the Copper Shores Mental and Behavioral Services Grant funds are due no later than May 13th. Find more details here.
