Baraga and L’Anse student Sauna Project featured during National Sauna Week sells at auction. At last month’s celebration in the area of all things sauna, the Copper Country ISD Construction and Technology program presented the student’s work to build a sauna. The project was a centerpiece during the Sauna Expo in February, enticing many residents and visitors to check out the craftsmanship and design. As a part of the project, the sauna was auctioned off. With the highest bid, Jolene and Cliff Van Den Elzen now own the CTE sauna. The lucky couple says that they are excited to have won the student project, adding that they are happy to support the work of students and their son, a CTE instructor.
