Copper Country Angel Mission Brings Back Backpack Program

The first day of school will show up quicker than students expect. Ahead of the start to the school year the Copper Country Angel Mission will seek to help Copper Country students in need of school supplies. The local non-profit is currently accepting students registering to join the organization’s Backpack Program.

Copper Country Angel Mission will gladly accept donations of large crayola markers, TI-30XIIS calculators, notebooks, and other school supplies to be distributed to students through the program.

Copper Country Angel Mission anticipates at least 100 local students will participate in the backpack program. Those interested in learning more about the Copper Country Angel Mission’s back pack program for students, or wish to donate school supplies can contact the organization at 906 934 2226. Or stop by the Angel mission’s storefront in Calumet at 433 Fifth Street.
