Contract Reached With New Michigan Tech President

Michigan Tech has come to an agreement on a five-year contract with their newly elected president.

Beginning July 1st, Dr. Richard Koubek’s salary will be $450,000 a year and he will also be named a tenured professor.

An at risk portion of his compensation is set up to $25,000, with annual performance objectives established by the Board of Trustees.

Dr. Koubek will also be granted a housing and car allowance and an employee benefit package, similar to the current president.
