Construction Ramping Up on the New East Hall at Michigan Tech

Construction crews continue progress erect Michigan Tech’s new East Hall. The new residence hall for Michigan Tech’s growing student population will pick up the pace of work as the construction season ramps up with warmer weather and sunnier days.

During this time the Prince’s Point Trail will close for May, and the university will begin changing pedestrian routes next week. At the start of summer, between May and June, the area and sidewalk south of Walker and the Rozsa Center will close. The university also wants to let campus visitors know that Cliff Drive will close for one weekend. However, that date has not been set. The road closure will be for construction deliveries. As a reminder to drivers and pedestrians please stay alert when driving near the construction zone.
