Cody Kangas Selected to Take on Executive Director Duties for Michigan Tech’s Career Services

Michigan Technological University Student Affairs names the new Executive Director of Career Services. Cody Kangas has been selected as the new Executive Director of Career Services at Michigan Tech. Kangas has worked with the university for the past 17 years providing extensive expertise in strategic partnership building and innovative program development.

Before joining the Career Services office, Kangas served as the executive director for Corporate and foundation relations in the Office of Advancement. In that role, he shared a strategic vision for the university’s fundraising strategy with regional, national, and international corporations, foundations, and other organizational sources. He has also served the university in roles as the interim director of career services, in corporate relations, and special development and pre-college outreach. Kangas says he’s honored to join the Career Services team.
