CLK Youth Hockey Fund Application Closes Tomorrow

Youth hockey in the Calumet Laurium Keweenaw area has one day left to apply for a 5,000 dollar grant with the Keweenaw Community Foundation. The CLK Youth Hockey fund will support the continued tradition of hockey for kids in the local area in honor of Joel Tuoriniemi. He was a strong advocate for his community, and instrumental in starting the CLK Youth Hockey Fund. After Tuoriniemi’s passing in 2023 CLK hockey fund organizers and the Keweenaw community foundation decided to honor Joel’s legacy through a 5,000 dollar grant supporting youth hockey.
