The Copper Country Intermediate School District held its biennial election Monday night at the Service Center in Hancock on Hecla Street. Three members were elected to full six-year terms, while one slot was filled for the remaining two years of that seat.
The winners were from across the district’s three county region. Karen Johnson of Lake Linden, Lisa Tarvainen of Watton, and Adam Loukus of Calumet will serve until 2027, and Timothy Palosaari until 2023. They are sworn in on July 1st.
