Calumet Art Center opens new gallery, welcomes back entertainment

Sunday afternoon, starting at 1:00, the Calumet Art Center will give visitors a first look at a new photography exhibit featuring the talents of George Bailey. Board President Kristy Walden says they have put in incalculable hours to make the new Sanctuary Gallery a beautiful place to highlight art, and she is excited to show it off alongside the Bailey pictures.

Additionally, hors d’oeuvres will be available and there is a treat for the ears as well, says Walden.

His wife is Gail English, so she put it together so that she, Robb Fitz, and Steve Jones will be playing.

According to Walden, Sunday marks the first time live entertainment will be featured at the Calumet Art Center since the pandemic began last March. Precautions such as masks and social distancing are still required. Admission is free. You can find more details by calling 906-934-2228.
