Baraga County Chamber of Commerce Accepting Business of the Year Award

The Baraga Chamber of Commerce seeks nominations from the community for its 2023 Business of the Year Award. On an annual basis, the Baraga Chamber seeks to recognize a business from the county that demonstrates a passion for their business and stands as an advanced leader of business in the community. The Baraga Chamber of Commerce 2023 Chamber Business of the Year Award will be handed out during the group’s annual meeting and member appreciation banquet in February. For the first time, the chamber will ask the community to participate in the nomination process for the award. Key characteristics of previous award winners include the ability to create a positive impact on the local business community, by generating jobs, increasing sales, or enhancing the business’s value. These businesses also dedicate service to the community, are active members of the chamber, and are considered leaders in their industry. The Baraga Chamber of Commerce will accept business of the year nominations until February 1st. Nominations can be mailed or dropped off at the chamber’s office at 1 North Main Street in L’Anse, PO box 122. The Baraga County Chamber of Commerce annual chamber member appreciation banquet is scheduled for February 15th. Find more details here.
