Aspirus Health proudly welcomes two new medical professionals to the Copper Country. Aspirus Keweenaw Hospital and Clinics has recently added two physicians, Dr. Rebecca Ulep and Dr Vince Ulep to the medical provider’s team of staff. The Husband and wife duo bring a wealth of knowledge and expertise to the community helping deliver high-level care close to home.
Dr. Rebecca Ulep is a trained Pulmonary and Critical Care Physician, having completed her fellowship with the Genesys Regional Medical Center in Grand Blanc. There she develops extensive knowledge and experience in treating respiratory conditions and critical care cases. She earned her bachelor of science in pre-medicine with a biology concentration from Pittsburgh State University and a doctorate from Kansas City University of Medicine and Biosciences.
Dr. Vince Ulep practices as a board-certified general surgeon, managing critical illnesses and advising patients. His areas of special interest include hernia repair, soft tissue, laparoscopic, endoscopies, and breast cancer surgery. Dr. Vince Ulep earned his doctorate from the Michigan State University College of Osteopathic Medicine and practiced his residency at the Genesys Regional Medical Center in Grand Blanc.
