Over four years students have completed their journey to become leaders, learn responsibility, and honor their oath to service for the country. Tomorrow Michigan Tech University’s Air Force and Army ROTC programs will host the fall 2023 commissioning ceremony. The ceremony marks the end of the cadets’ educational journeys as they head off to begin careers in service of the United States armed forces. This fall the Air Force ROTC will commission a single cadet, while the Army ROTC will commission eight cadets. Cadets that will be honored tomorrow will earn degrees in Accounting and Data Analytics, Chemistry, Management and Computer, Electrical, Materials Science, and Mechanical Engineering. Those unable to attend the ceremony or wish to congratulate the cadets on their achievements at Michigan Tech can find an online streaming option available. The Fall 2023 Air Force and Army ROTC commissioning ceremony will begin at 7 pm in the Rozsa center tomorrow evening.
