Adaptive Athlete Races Now Part of Canal Run

The Canal Run is now opening two other races that are available to adaptive athletes.

There will be the half marathon wheelchair race and the 5 mile blade run for single or double amputees. You can do the races individually, or either as teams of 5 or more or 8 or more.

The race options coincide with the Accessible Keweenaw Initiative, which is a local organization that promotes community-led effort for universally accessible outdoor recreation. Find more information on AKI here.
