Adams Twp Boil Advisory

Water service is restored to Adams Township Water Customers.  Now that it has the township has made this announcement:

“A mandatory boil advisory will go into place. This is a routine procedure to be followed if the water system loses pressure for a significant amount of time.
Residents will need to boil any water that will be used for drinking, making ice, brushing teeth, washing dishes, and preparing food.
Please use boiled or bottled water until an announcement is made stating the water is safe to drink.”

In talking to Adams Township, they have advised that this advisory is also in place for customers in Portage Township and the City of Hancock unless those municipalities advise otherwise.

Note:  As of 4:55 PM we were told from Adams Township that Hancock can be removed from the advisory.
