97.7 The Wolf continues annual holiday tradition promoting pet adoptions with the Copper Country Humane Society

Every good dog deserves a loving home. Recently 97.7 the Wolf started up its annual tradition the 12 Dogs of Christmas. The yearly adoption campaign promotes pet adoptions with the Copper Country Humane Society and serves as a way to grow excitement for the comedy show fundraiser, Raise the Woof on January 18th. 97.7 The Wolf morning radio host Kevin Ericson says he hopes the community remembers the joy pets bring to their lives.

One of the nice things about the 12 days of Christmas is that it fits so well with the holiday spirit, the holiday giving. And, well, hopefully, the humanity of the Keweenaw will just get their hearts touched one more time and see a couple of dogs find themselves their forever home. – Kevin Ericson, Radio Host, 97.7 The Wolf

After Christmas, The wolf introduced the 12 Dogs of Christmas’ first pet, Tiny. Then the copper country heard about two more furry friends, Ruger and Luna. Listen to 97.7 the Wolf each day to hear more about the 12 dogs of Christmas pet of the day, or check out more information about pet adoptions with the Copper Country Humane Society online.
